TERRES FALMET

The Terres Falmet estate is located in Creissan in the mountains of Languedoc on the Saint-Chinian terroir. Yves Falmet elaborates his wines with great care, so that they are the most natural and close to the terroir that has borne them.
Yves Falmet created the Terres Falmet estate in 1996, when he arrived in the Saint-Chinian region. The wines are made in an authentic Languedoc cellar.
The vineyard is a very large hillside of 20 ha with steep slopes and limestone soil. Yves Falmet cultivates his vines by applying true methods respectful of the Earth, based on years of experience, observation and reflection leading to a global conception of the environment.
The natural resistance of the vine is thus preferred to chemical control. The vineyard of the domain is classified as a natural reserve so that the flora and fauna can flourish and diversify.
The grape harvest, like the other works of culture of the year, is done manually.
