Upland limestone hills, covered by characteristic vegetation: the garrigue (scrubland). Workers from Bédarieux created this particular landscape with its low dry stone walls and typical "masets" (traditional cottages). This unique garrigue and orchard landscape provides a source of inspiration for those who know how to look at and listen to it. Numerous paths from the town climb to the plateau offering a multitude of walks.
