DOMAINE DE LA FEMME ALLONGEE

The vines of the Domaine de la Femme Allongée are located in the commune of Villespassans, at an altitude of 300 meters, the wine is in the Saint Chinian appellation. Jean-Paul Gracia claims a traditional work, he elaborates without oenologist nor "technology" products with strong personality evoking a rustic and superb soil.
Jean-Paul Gracia chose the Assignan terroir (300 m) in order to produce wines that are well balanced between vivacity and a beautiful tonic structure. He produces a complete range of Saint-Chinian: 1 rosé, 1 white wine vinified in barrels, 3 reds and 1 cartagena. The evocative names will make you smile and the tasting will delight you.
The name of the domain refers to the Caroux mountain that you can see when looking north. The legend says that it is Cébenna, daughter of a titan who lay down on the Caroux to die and was petrified.
