From the plain of the Orb to the first foothills of the Massif Central, there are villages with singular characters, with a rich winegrower's heritage, set on hillsides and in vineyards. Here, fields of olive trees, strawberry trees, holm oaks, cork oaks, chestnut trees nuance the vineyards.
The Faugères Appellation is a vintage of light where the schist is present, where the vine follows the contours of the hillsides. The wines are ample, round and powerful with tannins of great finesse.
The Côtes de Thongue appellation, characterized by a relatively steep north-south slope, forms a succession of levels from the Cévennes to the Mediterranean. Discover also the "folies languedociennes"; these castles, characteristic of the region, were built in the 19th century by enriched winegrowers.
