A human story

The vineyards of the Côtes de Thongue are characterised by a succession of small hills that connect the vineyards and give them a character all of their own. Twenty-three villages located in the triangle between Faugères, Pézenas and Béziers form this IGP vineyard.

The territory has a rich architectural heritage with lots of noble houses and chateaux built between ancient times and the 19th century.

The winemakers of Côtes de Thongue are innovators and pioneers in the field of biodiversity. Supported by the federation of IGP producers Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels of Languedoc-Roussillon, they have together deployed a new farm evaluation tool to modify their practices to best respect the environment.

Benefiting fully from the Mediterranean climate and employing all the most recent technological developments, the red wines are fruity and supple or full-bodied and spicy according to the production process. The white and rosé wines are balanced with notes of fruit and lots of elegance.
