"Vignobles et Découvertes"

Vineyards and Discoveries, a quality label

The French authorities have created a special category - Vignobles et Découvertes - which is a guarantee of the quality of the welcome and the quality of service to visitors

Berlou vineyards

All the atmosphere is summoned-up in the names!

Few of the world's vineyards have so much diversity of landscape, and therefore of wine. Sometimes little known, but always accessible, the wines the region offer a huge range of tastes, aromas and flavours that will delight the taste buds of wine lovers, amateurs and curious beginners.

Starting with the wines of Faugères, the only fully shale slopes in Languedoc, which bring a clear minerality to the wines from this vineyard; then there's Saint-Chinian with its aromas of juniper, jasmine and mimosa, delicate but powerful, and finally the wines of the Minervois "the wine made great by the wind," and the muscatel of Saint-Jean-of-Minervois (the only muscatel not to be produced on the coast).

The IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée, a sign of quality) wines include: the upper Orb Valley, Coteaux d'Ensérune, Coteaux de Béziers, Côtes de Thongue and Pays d'Hérault.
