Jazz au cloître is a major jazz music event in the sumptuous setting of the Saint-Chinian Cloister, with prestigious artists performing there.

part 1: Javotte
Finalists in the Nîmes Métropole Jazz Festival 2023 springboard competition, the Javotte quartet was created by flutist and composer Lucie Jahier
A musical explorer, the talented flutist Lucie Jahier has gathered around her a pianist with classical and jazz training, a bassist who loves salsa (and metal) and a drummer who loves jazz.
Seeking to push back the boundaries of style and embracing the mixing of genres, she fuses all her influences: choro, jazz, forró, jazz-rock, improvised music and contemporary music to create a lively, explosive sound.

part 2: Mélina Tobiana Quintet
Mélina Tobiana returns to the front of the stage to present her new, original repertoire with an original quintet. This group imposes its style on the frontiers of jazz, groove and folk.
