JAZZ AU CLOITRE - BAPTISTE BAILLY TRIO

Jazz au cloître is a major jazz music event in the sumptuous setting of the Saint-Chinian Cloister, with prestigious artists performing there.

Baptiste Bailly is a French pianist in his thirties, who began playing the piano at the age of 15 as a self-taught pianist, then went on to perfect his skills with great musicians (such as Jonathan Avishaï)
In "La Fascinante", his new album, Baptiste Bailly has brought together many influences from the world of so-called "traditional" music, sources of powerful and profound inspiration. Spain, jazz, musette, Celtic, Mediterranean and impressionist music come together in a nomadic, dreamy ball.
The melodic sensitivity and improvisational flair of this delicate, poetic album give the traditions evoked all their living force. Baptiste brings together an original trio: David Gadea (Spain) on percussion and Etienne Renard (France) on double bass.
